Are these Tuners direct replacement for MIM standart's ping die cast tuners? Does they fit without any modifications, or will I have to drill in my headstock?

I'm making my dream H-S-H,a bit Maiden style strat and I want to change tuners. My guitar is 6 years old, played everyday, I've changed strings so many times, that I can't ever count, and two of tuners are little worn out.

Ping Die cast Tuners that are used on the standard strat have the same shape and the same two "pins" to lock them in place. I only wonder if these pins have the same dimensions on ping and shaller die cast tuners. They does look absolutely the same on photos, but I've never had shallers in my hands.

As you are already aware of the pins, Pings are just a hair larger than the Schallers so you should have no problems with installation.

Even if there is really nothing wrong with pings, there is no way to get them in Poland. Shallers are easily available through Fender Dealer.
