You forgot the 50's. Really for me I love the classic look and feel. That is probably my favorite era. Although I love them from all time frames, except the super heavy ones from the 70's. However I would love to have one Strat with a large headstock.

Modern Strats with the 50's kind of look are awesome too. The basic Strat is just so darn nice, so you can't go wrong with one from almost any time frame.

I picked 60s because 50s period was not available. Although I just realized all my stuff is from 70s.

I've own several from all the decades, including the 50s. IMO, the best is the stuff being made right now followed close second by the late 50s/early 60s. YMMV.

Hello KenRosier,

I gotta go with Miami Mike & Martin
'54 being an all time favorite

and todays production as being the finest
Fender guitars produced.

Cheers.

I chose 90s because thats what I have. But my brother just got an 08 mia sienna sunburst w/ maple neck. I must admit, it is a damn fine guitar, much more body resonance than my 99 mia.

'Would really like to have a 50s, 60s, 80s and modern one.

Not necessarily original-year-build, but to savour the differences and dig playing them for such.

The bi-truss rod 08's are pretty nice.

Why did you omit the '50s?

A lot of people love those V necks from the late '50s.

I like the looks of some of the older models but I would vote for todays models.
