I have only been playing guitar for about two months now, and I have wanted an American made Highway One strat since I first heard of them. The shops in my town have started dropping the prices on this particular guitar which has made me extremely happy, until today. I heard that the reason behind this is Fender is discontinuing the Highway One. Is this true? Has anyone else heard this? If it is true, how much longer will it be on the market? Because there is no way I can by myself one for at least 3 months!!! :/

I had heard a rumor as such a month or so ago. I don't know if it's fact or not.

Does your local Music Store offer layaway? That might be the way to go.

I didn't Lose my mind, I traded it for this guitar.

I've heard a few of the rumors as well, not just on the boards but also from my friend who is a Fender dealer. He was blowing out his stock and I got their last Highway One at a pretty decent price.
