Hello all. So I am building a partscaster and am not sure how to arrange the staggared tuners??? Short posts on the low strings or on the high stings? Any help? Thanks~!

Biggest post for Big E. Short posts for high strings. Mike

Yup. Shortest post on the thinnest E. Tallest on thick E. Good luck with the build!

My AM Deluxe tele has two tall posts for the big E and A strings. The other four strings are short post.

I orginally put mine on backwards too, I asked this very same question as well. This is the same responce I got. It works better this way and no ned for string trees once they are on.
