Is it ever possible to eliminate fret buzz on a strat? It's really starting to annoy me, even after a set up it's still there. What else can I do to decrease it? Any help would be appreciated.

Not to give you a politician's answer but, it is just as possible on a Strat as it is with any other premium instrument. With Strats though, admittedly, it is a more complex procedure if you want it to have any kind of personalized action and even at that, based on the kind of action a given owner requires, sometimes, the only guarantee is when playing through an amp.

The 'guaranteed' way, if you want to call it that, is to use a full run of .012 gauge strings (or heavier), jack up the action, lower the pickups, put a bit more of a bow in the neck and use tiny frets. These were the circumstances the Strat was originally designed under. However, this remedy is for the most part, unacceptable and unrealistic with today's stylings.

At the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I feel every Strat has its own personality and because of this, a hands-on assessment is the only way to evaluate exactly what's going on Strat to Strat and how to correct it to the extent possible in accordance with the owner's desires.
