Post subject: Custom 54 pickups question.

Is it normal for the first pole pieces corresponding to the first two strings to be lower than the others? It's like that on all the 3 pickups. Sorry if this is a dumb question :oops:

From what I know the pole pieces are staggered to create a more balanced sound. If you're talking about the lowest two strings then yes that's very normal.
