Hello everybody, I'm new here so take it easy on me. I'd like to introduce you to my 1957 AVRI Stratocaster® (I'd guess made in 2007 or 2008) . I've had it for around 2 months now but it's new to you peoples, bought it used for 1200 USD. Enough talk here's pics:

This is the only guitar I'll ever need, the sound is pure unadulterated strat, no BS. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't mind having a few more (I also have a 2008 Jackson RR1 select snow white w/ pinstripe, but this is a fender forum). Anyways looking forward to having 1000+ posts and having some fun ^^

If you don't mind me asking, how is the hotrod version? I've never really heard much about them 'cept they got SCNs and a tone zone instead of the vintage wound pups. I mean, as of right now I don't think I will ever swap the neck or middle pup, those 2 make me very happy, but the bridge not so much as of yet. I've toyed with height, string gauge, action, etc but it still seems thin compared to the neck.

Did they really use such string tree on '57s?
I thought they had round one, like in '56 and '54.

Still... a damn cool axe! Cheers mate!
