Like a lot of other people have already stated, sounds like the tremelo bar is cross threaded. I would wait for my Tech to tak a look at it, however, you may be better off buying a new tremelo system.

Well, my Dad managed to pull it out. It was stripped and he had a hard time twisting it out, but he got it. So I can put it back in it's case and use it on the gig just fine. But unfortunately that means I can't use it anymore until I can either get a new one. This Wednesday my tech will be back and I'll get to talk to him about it. I don't use my tremolo that often, but I really miss it since I just happened to be in the middle of learning Little Wing.
