Hey guys! I just changed the strings on my Strat and noticed that the locking screws on my tuners aren't screwing in straight. The top 3 strings are fine... just the lower ones are having problems. I'm guessing it's because of the gauge... but I could just be grasping at straws here. Any help on correcting this would be appreciated! I really hope I didn't accidentally strip the threads!

Also... I'm having trouble keeping my G string in tune when I do dive bombs (a little trem use doesn't do anything). My Strat has an LSR nut (and, obvliously, locking tuners). I oiled the saddle, and it's not helping. The problem is definitely not the nut. I was wondering how to fix this... never noticed it before.

If it were me I would change the strings and check the tuners, nut and trem in that order.
You said that the tuners locking nut looked out of wack.
maybe they are not threaded correctly and allowing some string slipage.

just my $.02
