No problem. Any auto color can be ordered in an aerosol.

Am I seeing it right in that little picture - is that Taos Turquoise a metallic finish? If so, be sure to clearcoat over the top...

Good luck - C

Hi chanman246: it almost is but it isn't - what? Metallic?

In your better pics (than the one I found) it is now looking solid to me, is that right? Within which case it's a matter of choice for tfunk182 whether he clearcoats on top or not...

Cheers - C

Excellent: it's a pretty color, to be sure. Gotta love those '50s car finishes!

Cheers - C

Thought I'd jump in. '57 Lincoln had a Taos Turquoise but after a search of 50's car paint colors my best match was the '56 Cadillac Emerald Green (poly). I'd like to know myself what car color that Dave's 25th Anny Strat is. It's a great color. Turquoise comes in many shades. It's hard to match thru computer screens, printers, eyeball. Maybe Dave knows or Fender. Maybe somebody will nail it here in the forum. Side note: I think Fender is OVER rusting the hardware on their relics. My relic bridge is difficult to adjust due to over-relicing.

"Taos Turquoise" is a '57 Lincoln Premiere color. I painted a strat for a guy on the forum here recently. Heres the thread for it...

http://fender.com/community/forums/view ... ht=#334499

I use PPG - paint code is 41706

The shade all depends on the lighting, the camera used, etc

Example: Heres the picture I took of the guitar....

Heres the exact same guitar, but taken by the customer after he assembled it....

Yeah, I found an old 57 Lincoln color chart. There she was Taos Turquoise. That PPG is a good match and looks like a beautiful paint job. What kind of Strat was it? (model/yr/country of origin). Do you have a website? Price list? You're right about camera and lighting. Nice paint job and finished product looks great.
