Sorry guess when the topic was "PICKGUARD WITH BUILT IN TUNER?"

I thought that was a question not a statement that's usually what :?: means; with not much info in his first post.

orvilleowner: thanks for you post for the url link, that explains much.

the two are very similar where one is led's under the pot and the other is a row of led's at the edge of the pick guard.

You are welcome. Obviously, I did a search for the info since, as you say, there wasn't much in the first post. But a later post had the important info, but he didn't offer up a link.

I think I would prefer the N Tune system. But I will live with my old Peterson Strobe tuner.

Yes that is nice but not very relevant of what the Op is asking. what he is wondering about is if anyone has any information on his new pickguard, not if it possible to have a tuner on the pickguard

Information? Sure! Because Google is your friend.

Well Orville, I have to admit that since I already knew Google was my friend I've never bothered to click on one of your Google links before. Now I see what I've been missing! How'd you do that...?

Anyhow. Regarding this Optronix Edge tuner ( http://www.rocklin.com/Optronix/Edge/edge.html ), to my surprise I find that rather appealing. Neat. I already have the tuner issue covered - several times over - and it's somewhat expensive, so I won't be getting one. But it's an amusing little gadget, without doubt.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Cheers - C
