Some guy on craigslist is selling a fender, MIJ Acrylic strat. Has fender every made an acrylic strat, let alone a Japanese acrylic strat? Smells fishy!

Hi jtcolumbus, welcome to the Forum.

Can't tell you for certain that Fender Japan have never made an acrylic Strat - perhaps they have. Never heard about it, though.

But that is a suspiciously low price for ANY legit Japanese Fender. I don't like dissing sellers I've never met - but I don't fancy the smell of this one.

Unless there's much better info to be had, walk on by...
