Can anyone give me specs for an MIA Strat from 1997? Preferably what kind of neck it has (radius, ect). If it makes any difference it might be a road house strat.

Sorry for the vague-ness. A friend of mine has a '97 strat and I love it's neck.

Please and thanks so much!!!

I have a 98 mia strat, not a road house though, just a mia standard. Mine is a basic rosewood board, 9.5 radius (i believe) - pretty much the norm.

You might like your friend's because it's been played on for 12 yrs and broken in nicely. Also, those years had a less-glossy finish on the back of the neck than the newer ones, and I like that about the older necks. Other than that, there's probably nothing exotic about that year. But the years of playing, those frets wearing down in just the right spots all make older guitars fit like a glove. The late 90's were my favorite years for Strats for various reasons. Plus it has that last century thing going on which is cool too.

The '97 MIM Standard and MIA American series both have a 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets. I believe the Roadhouse were the same.

Thanks, I like his because the neck is really flat compared to my 60's RI. It plays really nice.

Thanks guys :)
