I really tried to find a past thread... after 2 hours of sifting thru many search results I can't find it!

Someone on this forum that owns an EJ Strat made mention of his experience with the MID pickup. Specifically, how changes in the height of the mid pickup altered the volume (I believe in reverse of what he expected) and how much the mid seemed to interact with the other two pickups. Am hoping that whoever posted that old thread will see this and re-post their results - or email me at MEDPAD@YAHOO.COM please.

I never liked or used a strat's middle pickup until I got this guitar. The EJ mid seems to have more tone than any other mid p'up I've sampled & my goal is to milk the most tone out of it I can.
