Man i am always blown away when i read the posts and replys here. I have only posted a few questions but have always recieved a huge amount of support- thanks.

I dont want to get sappy but i turned to guitar for something i could grow old with - you see i got fabry disease and although im in really good shape now there may come a day when the kidneys crap out on me. If i get tied to a dialasis machine playin music could keep me goin mentaly. Thats why the little things in life like people here caring enough to help me out mean so much.

That aside you guys have offered some great stuff on the net. im already checkin these out. im also goin to check out some of the dvd referals. i like the idea of having the teaching aspect but also being able to view the lessons over and over.

Again - im greatful for your advise and am re-inspired to apply it. I hope all the other begining musicians out there will benifit from this post and continue down the road to makin music - Jimmy

Jimmy, FWIW, the Learn & Master Guitar series got awsome reviews. It isn't cheap BUT, it looks to cover everything about guitar playing from A - Z.
