A friend of mine inherited a Fender Strat I Series (made from 89-90, primarily for export), and he didn't want it so I bought it off him. It's got a tremolo bridge and is a little banged up, as you'd expect a 20-year old guitar to be.

I haven't been able to find any info about this series anywhere on Google or this forum. Is anywhere here familiar with them? Any thing I should know? Is there any reason to think that it's substantially different or more or less valuable than similar strats built around that time?
