Post subject: Need Help Identifying My Guitar

I bought a Strat a couple years ago but am starting to question what it is.

I thought I purchased a 50th Anniversary American Deluxe in Sunburst. Problem is that I can only find references to this guitar coming with a maple fretboard. Mine has a rosewood fingerboard. It's got the "50th" neck-plate and the S-1 Switching. Another thing is that it didn't come with the "50th" case but just a standard tweed case. The case is not a big deal.

Can anyone help me out on this? What do you think I have? Did the 50th Anniversary Deluxe come with a Rosewood fretboard?

my little brother has a 50th deluxe with a rosewood board so yes they did come with rosewood. does your neck plate have a contour if so you do have a 50th deluxe

Nope, the commemoratives only came with maple fretboard, gold hardware, and the 50th anniversary logo on the neckplate and pickguard. However, some of the 2004's did have the 50th anniversary neckplate, but they weren't the "limited edition" model:

your right my brothers is a std 04 deluxe not the limited edition and only says 50th on the neck plate. but all 04 strats had 50th some where
