I've noticed that the insert on my volume knob (push button) swivels around which means it won't push in when it's out of position. Kind of a pain. Are they supposed to swivel like that? Any ideas on fixing it or do I just need a new knob, in which case I think it might be a tricky part to get. Thanks.....ef

Maybe it's a warranty issue, otherwise order one at the shop you
bought the ax.

It is not suppose to be like that. You should replace it.
I own a fender guitar with the s1 switch and I do not have this issue.

It might just need a new spring. I know this is maybe not kosher, if you may want to try to fix it yourself, you can pull the knob off and you may see what is causing the problem. That or bring it to the store you bought it or any Fender dealer and have them look at it. It may be a simple fix.

Hey, I fixed it. 8) Seems it just wasn't pushed in all the way. I gave it a good push down and it sunk in farther than it had been. Thanks for the replies!

something else about the s1 switch - allot of the early ones I played had a problem with the s1 switch "sticking" - not popping up after you depressed it - if you get this problem check the inside of the part you press down - you just need to file down a tiny little bit of extra plastic at the bottom.
