I have a bunch of pieces and parts enough for a couple guitars. Does anyone know for sure if a MIM neck will fit OK a a MIA body I have sitting here two of them really. I have at least 2 I could put together as project guitars USA noiseless pickups. I know the older used to use a 21 fret neck. Just don't know what affect it would have. And don't want to build it all out just to find out you can't get the attenuation right on it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, it fits fine. The 22 fret neck just adds an extra fret on a little "overhang" at the end of the fretboard... there is no difference in scale length.

BTW, the thing you're worried about affecting is "intonation." "Attenutation" (in the audio sense) means to decrease gain.

However that is great news. Plan on doing a lot of enlay work on them more an art peice that really plays. Just made me a happy guy! Just sat down this weekend did an inventory of parts. I was not sure or able to find out if they had at some point adjusted things for the intoation.
