Kind of looks like you picked up a nasty split in the wood where is was probably joined. Well you wanted something different. You got it !
you can add the blowing fire effect if you go on stage.

Niki tell me that wasn't the body you were painting on a couple of months ago on a different thread... :?

Oh well it did provide some interesting pictures... Very entertaining. I don't think I'll try the burn relic job on any of mine.

Yep thats the same body. After the utter faliure of an attempt to paint it, it wasnt used. Just kicking around the house being annoying.

The things ready for the bin now. Unless Ceri can sort it. If he can he needs to update his CV to include 'diety of the woods'.

It will be sent to him sometime over the next few days, when im sure that he's on the eastern leg of his cross country shuffle.

Ugh....I don't care how crappy a guitar is, I just can't stomach the sight of that body so burnt!! I hate doing that stuff to guitars! Okay, I have to lay down for a sec....:(

Just don't wear nice cloths when you strap it on. I hear that soot and charcoal stains are hard to get out

Map gas is better than propane, It burns hotter and takes less.
It should be pretty interesting.

UH-OH! We're going to do this in public, are we?

I'm remembering the impatience the Forum felt waiting for the paint to dry the last time around. Guys, I've got a busy time over the next few weeks and won't even get started on this ticklish project for a month or so. So be patient! I'll launch a thread when I'm ready to go...

Meantime: I have some ideas turning around in my head and am already looking about at timbers.

Here we go again! :D

Cheers - C

Ceri.
Do you have any use for a couple of slabs of walnut taken from a old table?
I've got some kicking around waiting to be picked up at my mums. I was going to make a tele body out of it with a cohort. The partnerships gone a little sour of late though.
I wasnt going public, just vamping on the initial post. Sorry.
