Looking good mate.

One thing about the guitar. I bet the flaming on the maple is a good deal heavier than those photo's lead us to believe. Dunno about anyone else but i just cant flame to show up well on photo's.

Looks like a screamer to me. Bet your Chuffed. Did you get it for the low price it started at?
If so you got a hell of a lot of guitar for not much money if its anything like my custom classic. 8)

Hi Nik, yes mate very much so thank you for your input again in my very 1st post! No one bid against me so i ended up only paying the $AUD 1900

The neck is beautiful, the flame is hard to capture with my very limited photographic skills :)
I was a little unsure about the “C” neck however absolutely no problems with it at all, very playable indeed!

Here is a slightly better pic of the neck:

Do you have any picture of your Strat?

Cheers

haha which one???

The custom classic.

back of the neck. I found the flash needs to be turned off and you need to stand in the right spot to get the flame showing best. I snapped about 10 pictures whilst walking around the room and came up with this one.

Mine is a little different to yours as it had scn pickups from new. Those classics are awesome pickups.

How do I upload an image of my Strat from my desktop to this forum? I'll show you guys an amazing AA flame pattern that comes out nicely in picture. It's the neck on my 1956 NOS Custom Shop Time Machine. Let me know how to upload the desktop image and i'll show you guys

Jeff, you need to get a Photobucket account and upload the picture to there and then copy the Img code into your post.

Would like to see that flame pattern

See what i mean about the lighting for flame Pac. The first picture of the front of that guitar makes it appear nearly bland. In the 2nd picture its like a different piece of wood, its a really detailed flame.

Love that lespaul. Tobbacco busris it? I cant play em and consequently dont know much about em.

Well done that fellow.

So, you did it! I'm officially envious... can't believe nobody else was bidding on that. I was looking at the auction before you posted here for the first time thinking someone was about to get very lucky, and I'm glad you did. You'd pay an extra fifteen hundred dollars for that from a second-hand dealer in Sydney, and it'd be well worth it, too. Great work.

Yes I totally agree the flame is easily blurred out by the flash making it look very bland / plain indeed.

As for the Les Paul, she is a ‘06 Non Chambered Standard in Heritage Cherry Sunburst (I know this is a fender forum but we are all guitar lovers right.. :) )

Thank you for your insight in my inital post, I am happy to say that I did have a very good ebay experiance. I certainly had my initial reservations with purchasing it off Ebay, the seller was excellent , they faxed me through the authenticity cert, while they did not allow me to try before I placed a bid, they did assure me that if there were any post sale problems they would refund my money.. They told me where they were based in Brisbane, so that all put my mind at ease. Anyway needless to say very happy with the outcome… Cheers

there's nothing wrong with showing other guitars in your picture collection. I don't know bout you but i love all guitars and i have a few brands other than fener (esp, prs, epiphone) i am eyeballing either a mustang, american std strat or a schecter c1 hellraiser fr

but anyway your guitar(s) are awesome and have fun with them.
