Contact Fender - consumerrelations@fender.com

Give them the info you have, and I'm pretty sure they can send you back the specs.

Hi deepindigo114: well that's odd. They appear to have given you the specs of the American Standard, introduced in 1986 and discontinued in 2000 (it says on that list).

If your guitar is from 2005 then for starters it was called an "American Series" at that point, not "American Standard". And I doubt yours has the TBX circuit mentioned in that list, does it?

I know because I have a 2005 MIA. My guitar is the HSS model, and differed from the SSS in other respects (such as possessing the S1 switch). But in most ways it'll be the same as yours; tell me what you want to know about it specifically and I can likely help...

Cheers - C

Ah, excellent. Well thank you for posting that, because instead of me helping you with the specs, you have helped me. I didn't know that the non-locking staggered tuners were also made by Schaller, like the locking ones.

It's always handy to see those "insider's" versions of the specs sheets that appear on the Products pages of this website, isn't it?

Thanks - C
