Does anyone have any experience with the Graph Tech Nuts compared to Bone? I'm in need of a replacement. I snapped my low E side off, grrr.

I need a place online to order one, if someone knows of a great site please direct me to it. Thanks!

Why not try the Fender roller nut? I played one on a Custom Pro and a Beck. Amazing with no resistance to bending at all.

A well-made Bone Nut is always a good thing. Main reason (my opinion) the Tone from a bone nut. Bone is a dense material that transfers string energy. Softer more elastic nut material doesn't tranfer energy nearly as well, also, strings tend to cut it, which leads to binding. Another advantage of Bone is that it helps a guitar stay in tune. A third advantage some one has to make the bone nut, when done properly, pays special attention to the details. The Nut is one of the most important parts of a guitar because it facilitates good action and intonation on every string.

Thanks guys! I'm going to check out all available options and I'll tell ya which I like the best. I've never grooved bone so I'll need to find a pro to work on a blank. I play with 11's so customizing for just 11's may make a noticable difference?
