Has anyone seen Trower on his latest tour?
I'll see him 3 times when he gets to the the mid-west.

Who is he touring with? (I'll have to look that up.)

I saw some video of him with Jack Bruce in Germany in Februrary. It was great.

Ahhh he's coming to my city tomorrow night but I've got to leave town for a gig of my own. You win some you lose some. I try to compensate for my anger by remembering I'm going to get paid to play some music as opposed to spending money to see music played.

Trower has a new CD called "What Lies Beneath" coming out on July 14th. I will definitely get it.

I have to wait until September to see him, but I do have my tickets already!

Yes, Robin Trower has a few greatest hits CDs, but I'd go for complete albums. You can get most of his albums on 2 for 1 CD's. You can start with "Twice Removed From Yesterday" and "Bridge of Sighs". I've seen those two together. Most definitely get "Seven Moons", his recent album with Jack Bruce and Gary Husband. I listen to it all the time. Great playing and very moody stuff. The older BLT stuff is pretty good.

As a tip - if you try to play any of his stuff, you gotta tune down a whole step to get it right... D,B,C,F,A,D low to high.
