I loved them PAF's. I found a westbury on ebay earlier. I wonder if he'll accept a 50thanniversary deluxe as a trade.

He'd probably be a little crazy not to. Or that broke. I love my Westbury, but... yeah

orvilleowner, I know this is off-topic, but my grandmother made me a quilt when I was kid that looked just like the one you have your guitars on top off on page 1 off this thread. I still have it.

ah well my herd would have multiplied by an ES-330 had i not bought the Beatles Remaster Stereo Box set, then subsequently bought a Hofner copy, but at least i bought wood with strings attached.

Here's a pic of the Strat with the new bass, which kicks $@! and takes names:

Howdy Louie, and thank-you for the compliment.

Between Keeleys Blues Driver and 808, it really depends on what I'm trying to do and through which guitar...I tend to like my single coils better through the Boss and my humbuckers better through the tubescreamer. Generally, I've found the BD-2 to be a little darker. I typically have the gain dialed back to ~ 9 oclock on both, and will either run them both together when I want more or use the MXR, which I leave set up with more gain.

The guy who turned me onto that modded BD-2 got rid of the tubescreamers on his board after he bought it. NO WAY...that's an excellent overdrive, and I love it.

As you know, the BD is quite a bit more affordable.

One thing I'd suggest you consider is checking out used ones on the bay. Could've saved about $60 on the Boss if I had a little more patience, and probably more on the Tubescreamer.

BTW, you've all got some beautiful guitars. And Guitarman, the Mustangs...that's really awesome...if I knew you better I'd be inclined to send you a gold anodized picguard just so I could see how they look together with the Ford!
