http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I1caahRLjo

I notice that he does not seem to future as a fender Artist, but I am sure you can agree that He makes his strats Sing!
Curious if anyone can tell me what models he is using?

From the headstock it looks like a 50's reissue. The pickguard kind of looks like a 3ply though. Im not sure on that i couldnt make it out clearly.
Maybe a 57 or a time machine 56 is my guess.

I go to church there and yes he is the lead guitarist. He has a cd out that he, his 16 yr old son (on drums, awesome player!) and a bassist. Really good trio band. I recommend checking it out. His main guitar is a MIM 50's reissue with EMG SA pups in it. His other strat is a oly white MIM 60's reissue with DiMarzio Area 57/61 pups. Yeah he is good guitarist.

Hey Pac,
Thanks for sharing that. Josh if you're reading this awesome work. Great phrasing on the two I watched. I play in 2 different worship bands. You're very inspiring. May the Lord bless you with some more exposure and some CD sales as well...

I didn't get the location of the Church if anyone knows holla. Might be worth a road trip.

I have the "Soul Serenade Sessions" cd by The Josh Meyers Band. I want to say it's as good as if not better than any cd by Satch. I drive for a living and it is great driving music. I also believe he plays Telecasters as well as Strats. You should get the album, you won't be disappointed, I am always happy after I hear it. It's very uplifting. Check out "Blue Skies" and "The Deadbone Army".

The church is in St. Joseph, MO. I have his cd also and my favs are On the Other Side, Zachary's Song and The Good Fight. Tobarton and I are friends with him. Yeah he plays an Ibanez on the cd also. I can't remember what model it is though. He tears it up on guitar.

Hi EGrier! The Ibanez on the CD is a JS100 with aftermarket Dimarzio Pickups (can't remember which ones exactly but similar to if not the same as those Satch uses). I have the originals from his JS100 in my Ibanez which seem to be a good match. Takin' back the farm features a '72 Tele Thinline with the humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions.

Hey tdanb2003

The Church address is Word of Life Church in St. Joseph Missouri. (http://www.wolc.com). Josh will be playing in Minnesota at the end of this month, check his website for details (http://www.joshmyersband.com)
