Well here is her replacement. I thought I'd best post a pic of her as if I just told you all was sorted you'd have demanded pics anyhow....:0)

Hi UK Jedi Knight: I remember your previous thread well. It got a little warm at moments, didn't it? Since then I for one had my awareness of that grain figuration heightened - and have noticed it on many other guitars. Clearly it's natural: but a matter of taste how you feel about it.

I'm sure you did the right thing changing the guitar if you were uncomfortable about it - especially as you have clearly got a beaut! What grain; what a pretty finish!

Well done, and thanks for posting.

Now: rock that babe till the neighbors weep!

Cheers - C

That is one honey of a strat. It does not get any better than that in the looks department and I would believe it sounds the way it looks. I would of done the same thing. When you are paying top dollar for something you should be satisfied in every way. I would not want to buy a new car with a dent and have them shave a few bucks off. Fender did the right thing and we should expect them to they are Fender after all. And you have some dealer thats someone you want to always do buisness with.
