Howdie!
Anyone know where I could get some replacement bridge screws for a 1972 strat? , Also I'd like to know if I can trust the neck plate (369***), -It's a bit of a 'bitsa' ,tuners , refret, originally a hardtail (I Think?) that I brought on a whim a couple of years back.
Any pointers would be most greatfully welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Jethro.

Many thanks for your assistance; I’ll give them a go.

I’ve a story about my love/care for this guitar.
-I brought it in good faith, from a infamous auction site , and paid a fair whack for it.
at the time, I’d happened to have a little ‘spare’ money and treated myself to a brand new 4X12 Marshall JMC 2000 to boot.
Shortly thereafter, my (then) girlfriend, of 11 years said quote “You spend more time with that thing, (gesturing Pointy finger stylee), than you do with me.”
The crack of the front door slamming almost drowned out the glorious sound.

This guitar owes me. …and I’m a lousy guitar player.
…I’ve a couple of G*bson’s (335 and SG) and I love then too, but …
I could go on and bore you about how nice ‘Sally’ feels (By way of explanation, Sally was a girl I met at a Bert Jansch concert, who was really into guitars, music, and stuff …Very Athletic )

I know It’s an ask, but, could one trace the history of a guitar via a neck plate?

Kindest regards & appreciation,

Jethro

The serial number only places the general time of construction. Trust? Well, they can be switched around quite easily, so there's no guarantee that it's the original one. Do you trust the people who've owned it over the years?

Originally a hardtail? What is it now? Can you show some pictures?

Yeah, pictures would be nice.

Gotta admit though, there's other stuff here that interests me more:
