Besides the obvious, new gear, I'd buy a couple of Ice Cream trucks and cruise around making kids happy. And fat.

I would get an SRV "Number 1" Tribute Strat. And a Line 6 Vetta II head with a Marshall cab.

With that kind of scratch, I'd call a meeting with the Fender, "suits" and negotiate a buy in (or out).

I would buy a mountain, Build a castle on top, barricade myself in, land mine all the slopes and post signs saying “ ATF, Potential future relatives and solicitors KEEP OUT”...hahahah

An Island would be cool to have as well… it would have to be big enough for my wife to reall be able to open up the Corvette i'm sure she would make me buy her...

If I won that kind of money, I would open a Music Shop. I would try to have the type of shop that everyone would want to come to. Hire on sales people who do not work for comission. Give perks to employees who really help people, not give them a hard time. And I would try to keep my prices low enough to give the big chains a run for their money.

i'd get the most pristine all-original 1963 strat with the three tone sunburst finish i can find, then pick myself up the best all-original Vox AC30 i can find.

shouldn't cost too much

if we're actually talking about spending every dime of that money, then i'd spend some of it on an amazing private investigator to find out who has Jimi's Monterey Black Strat, buy it, then go to Seattle to buy his Woodstock setup. That should cost a little bit more....

I'd rather have my very own 63 with a real AC30 though.

If I had that much money I'd contact the Fender Custom Shop and ask them to build a guitar that had the exact same specs as the SRV Number 1 Tribute, only I'd also ask them not to relic it, or to relic it differently. As far as the amp goes, I'd visit several different guitar stores in several different cities (or even states) until I found the one I liked the best, and I'd get that one. :D

If I just hit the Powerball mega-millions-of-dollars jackpot, I wouldn't be hanging around this forum ...
