Sorry to keep putting this on top of everyones agenda, I'm sure alot of people are sick of seeing Gilmour questions on the boards!
I'm just wondering if the plastic parts on the Gilmour strat are aged white ie yellow, or just white? A really stupid question but then I've never even seen one and its kinda hard to make out on the net as every site uses the same promo shots of it and I abstained from the Gallagher strat for a long time because of how crappy it looked on the promos....thank god I came to my senses!!!!

On a different note, those looking for an authentic dose of Gilmour in your hands here's something I just came across - was looking for a gilmour green case seperate...

http://cgi.ebay.com/PINK-FLOYD-DAVID-GI ... dZViewItem

This is ridiculious, even if DG has put his mitts on these I've got Plecs at loads of concerts and even a couple of Brian May's coins but this is defintely a typo or else severe dilusion...

Thats insane. Check out the detailed feedback section for this guy. People are paying lots for his picks. One guy paid $207.59 for some Metallica picks. What's up with that?

Go to the specs section on the Custom Shop website for both guitars. You'll find a detailed description for the Relic and the NOS. Both specs use the word 'aged' as a descriptor.

Up against my Clapton, my Gilmour NOS's control knobs and pickup covers have a distinct cream color. Whether the Relic's are even moreso I cannot tell you.

I cannot even fathom the amount of extra income I would have to have to blow 900 bones on something like that. Some folks have more money than brains I guess, because I bet they sell.

Thanks Doc,
Yeah I use dunlop teardrops myself and they're about as much as I'm willing to pay for a gilmour-like plec. People DO have more money then sense but I can't believe aanyone would pay that for plecs unless david gilmour was handing them over personally!!!!
