My first electric was a Squier Tele. Upgraded to (don't be mad Fender people) a Gibson Les Paul.

First acoustic was a Fender CD-60. Upgraded to the Acoustic/Electric pictured in my signature later.

My First Guitar was a Kay Acoustic given to me from my parents in six grade which was 1978 i think..First electric was a Univox semi hollow body Still own it it is at my parents house in unplayable condition one of these days i will get a hair and rebuild it...
The First electric i bought with my own money was a 1979 Cobalt Blue Aria Pro II CS250 SG copy with demarzio type pups it was a very nice guitar played great sounded great...I bought it from a friend who had it as his first guitar then a few years ago we ran into each other again and he asked about so i sold it back to him ...With the knowledge i still had my original univox so i thought it was only fair to let him have his first guitar back..

Mine was a bright red Hondo Strat copy (early 80's - not sure of the exact year). It had a maple fretboard, and for many years afterwards I had an aversion to rosewood boards, simply because of this guitar. I bought it from a friend at school, and it came with a "Zenith" 15 watt amp. I'm still friends with the guy I bought it from to this day.

:)

After several years of taking my son to lessons I finally broke down and started taking lessons myself a few weeks ago.

My first guitar is a oldie but a goodie. 2001 MIM Standard Strat. Its a great guitar.

My first guitar (which I still play, after all I just got it last December) is a Black Fender Starcaster Strat.

i started out on a cheap classical guitar, 45 euro's, my sister gave it to me (cool sis!)

my first electric and current guitar is an OLP Petrucci, i got a nice deal on it, it feels alright, it plays alright. it's an alright guitar! not bad for 250 euro's, including a nice softcase and some cables. i don't like the tremelo though. i'm thinking about taking this one to lessons and then after a while buy a fender. i love ibanez and such, but fender is so stylish, so bluesy, so legendary. nothing beats a fender!

i also bought a morgan electric/acoustic for 150 euro's. they're made in the same factory as motion guitars and such. el cheapo, but very nice for it's price. (not to be confused with morgan from BC, Canada)

A strat-copy by Cort when I was 14. It was so "spanky" that it sounded like I was playing a pie pan (much to the dismay of my then-metalhead friends)
