This is a simple question. How do the two compare? Which one comes out on top? I don't know anything about CIJ Fenders. I do know that MIM Fenders are well respected. Thanks for your help! :)

I personally believe that the Japanese Fenders are better quality guitars. That is my opinion. I have friends who think a MIM is as good as an American made Fender. I think they are crazy.

No offence to the new users but if you scroll back a few pages you'll see the way these threads go.

PLEASE NO MORE VS THREADS.

Nah enterprise transporter system. I even like the federations policy towards money (at the moment). Zero carriage charge, all in the name of interplanetary peace.

Right i'm off to ring nasa and tell them to get a move on.

Night night all.

You folks seriously want to end the notion of comparisons?

Certainly this is a redundant question regarding Japanese vs Mexican made but...

Lot of in experienced people curious about differences in maple and rosewood fretboards, Highway One as compared to roadwarn, etc.

Besides, many of the childish things people write are revealing and entertaining. And they are the minority.

BTW, I've not experienced enough to offer anything other than the MIJ's are well spoken of.

All FMIC guitars and basses rock. It just depends on how much coin you have to spend.
