If it's too high, it just needs ninor re-cutting... Now, of course, if you want a bone nut personaly fitted by your favorite highly-skilled tech then you're quite entitled to. But to say you "have to drop another 75 bucks" is nonsense!

And you could just take it back to where you bought it and ask tehm to sort it for free. :wink:
