OK, I've got some questions that I hope someone can answer:

1. What does MIM mean?
2. What does MIDI mean?
3. What does it mean to "fret out"?
4. When a guitar has a radius of say 7.5, what does that mean?
5. What is fretwire?
6. What is a tone pot?
7. Does a veneer fretboard feel different than a slab board?

Thanks!

1. Made In Mexico
2. Musical Instrument Digital Interface
3. to fret out is to have a string contact a fret that it was not intended to contact and produce an atonal buzz
4. This is the radius of the fingerboard of the guitar. It is slightly curved to make it easier to play.
5. fretwire is the stuff they make frets out of; it comes either on long spools or cut already, and is put on the neck to make frets
6. a tone pot is a potentiometer (basically a variable resistor) that controls the amount of treble in a guitar's output
7. a veneer fretboard will feel different from a slab board; a slab will feel thicker and and give you a fatter tone
