I have a question for all you fender lovers. What is the color strat you prefer best? Mine is an aged cherry sunburst.

I love the fluorescent road sign yellow/green … But since Fender don’t offer that color I guess I got to say Pink Paisley…

if your answer was NOT 3 tone sunburst, daphne blue, or surf green, you are a douche.

My, that's quite disrespectful.

I saw a MIM in Grafitti Yellow at a Guitar Center a few years back with a black pickguard and a H/S/S p'up configuration. Bright yellow is out there! Happy hunting.

I'm partial to the looks of my MIA Deluxe in sienna burst and rosewood. IMHO it's one of the prettiest guitars I've ever seen anywhere, but I'm not into the flashy "pearloid" and neon colored stuff. Just not my style. Even the SRV etched into that artist's series guitar seems a bit "pretentious" to me.

I liked the looks of the thing so much I actually bought two new Strats withing a week of each other. The first was an Oly/Maple standard. Reminded me of an old Squire I use to own, played beautiful, and I needed a new guitar. That was on a Monday. Saturday I was back in GC getting some sundries and in the very same spot where the standard hung was this deluxe. Caught my eye immediately, and 5 minutes after I plugged it in I was laying down the cash even though I really didn't need a new guitar any more.

I can't even call it GAS. It was more like falling head over heels for a pretty girl. :)
