I am thinking of making some upgrades to my strat to help with the tuning stability, Im definetely buying tuning locks but still haven't decided if I should change the bridge, I saw on a Callaham bridge made of pure steel and that supposedly has better manufacture than the fender ones......does somebody know about upgrades to help with the tuning for a strat?

Which bridge do you have?
If it is a trem, put in all 5 springs and block it.
That should help nicely with keeping in tune.

IMHO: Locking tuning machines especially if you like to use the tremolo help break strings :D

Tuning issues are rarley the bridge...
9 out of 10 times its the nut...

check your nut slots
your wound strings should fit 50% in slot un wound strings should fit 80% in slot.

slots should be clean and smooth and a dab of Potroleam jelly will go a long way also...

hope that helps
