what makes a strat a good or bad one??

and the Haze is awful, just so you know, i tried it out the other day. my solid-state does a better job emulating tube sound than the Haze does, and the Haze has tubes! It might be underpowered, too, but i couldn't crank it in the store.

I'd say check it out just to check it out, but I wasn't impressed....

Did you happen to read the back of it to see where it was made?

i didn't check. I would hope so, for Marshall's sake...they can't have fallen this hard

I looked at the owners manual online (a pdf file) ... it's made in India.

I figured it wasn't made in the UK because the ad said "designed and engineered in the UK" .... it left out the key word: "built"
