On one of the demo videos the guy shows that when you put the guitar in normal the blue light goes of mine stays on. Anyone else have this problem May have it checked out.
Thanks

Thanks I'll call Fender on this one because the video of the guy from Fender on his VG shows putting it in normal play and the light goes out. I guess this would save the battery.
Again Thanks

If you have batteries in it, and they have some charge left in them, when you put a guitar cord in, the light will light - and you should be able to use the Synth part of the guitar.

See page 14 of the manual for a nice clear explanation of the light, and how it works, and the batteries that you should use.

Mine works just like the book says.

The light stays on as long as the cord is plugged in. If the batteries are going the light will blink and then go out. You will lose any synth ability but the guitar will still play in normal mode. I found this out the hard way in the middle of a song at Church. I had left the cord plugged in from rehearsal. I switched everything to normal and finished fine. I use rechargeables and always have a spare charged set on hand when I use this guitar.
