I found a 2007 MiM Lonestar Strat in a roadrunner hardcase.he wants 400.00 but I know i can get it for a little less. Its black with tortoise Pickguard and the Duncun designed Hum and 2 singles. The fullsize bridge block and its in excellent shape. Do you folks think its worth buying? I played it. It needs a little setup but plays pretty good as is.
what say you?

If it's worth buying depends entirely on whether or not you like it. Keeping in mind that you'll set it up the way you want it -- preferably before money changes hands, but after you've agreed on a price -- and that you like the instrument, I think it's a good deal.

MIM Telecasters are great guitars, although each instrument has its own intricacies and quirks. I payed $400 (CAD) for mine which was used but in mint condition. Just play it as much as you can -- not always an option -- and buy it if you like it. If for whatever reason you change your mind, it shouldn't be difficult to unload. MIM and MIA Fenders are generally pretty easy to sell; most Craigslist and Kijiji sites are full of Squiers and other Strat copies. Consequently, "real" Fenders go fairly quickly.
