I have a 2005 American Strat that I am looking to put the Callaham "CG" Saddles on. I like the look better than the stock "block" saddles. I was reading online http://www.callahamguitars.com/up_amstd.htm and it says that they improve the sound of your guitar?

Does anyone have these? And if so do they change the sound on 'em. I like the sound of my guitar, but I think that the "block" saddles are such an eye sore.

I have them, but replaced my block with a callaham one at the same time, so I can't tell you exactly how they changed the tone. I'd like to believe they helped, and I think they look better. Replacing the block and saddles on my AM Dlx made a huge imrprovement! I believe fender is now making the bent steel saddles for the American non deluxe models, so that's an option as well.

Yep. my 08 American Standard has the two point bridge with bent saddles.
