I have a question about this picture.

Apparently someone changed the bridge and neck pickups. The ebay listing said they were "fender custom pickups" But they didnt know what kind they were.

Anyone have any ideas???

they look almost like Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s, because the middle pickup looks like it is hum-canceling. as far as I know, no Fender Custom Shop pickup has aged covers. it is possible you may have been gypped. however, the sticker looks authentic. very puzzling...

The pickups sort of look like Texas Specials to me.

The aged covers are an easy replacement part, so I wouldn't be quick to say you were taken.

If you can measure the DC Resistance of the pickups, we could probably know for sure.

It looks real ... like a real upgraded American Standard (improved tuners etc).
