I bought one last night from GC in 3 tone sunburst with the maple neck. They had one in sunburst out on the floor that I absolutely loved and the one I ended up with was still in the box from Fender. I had to have it. Anyway, my wife made me feel guilty for buying yet another guitar, almost to the point of returning it. Well, this morning she got over it and now she wants me to enjoy it. :D

It's still sitting at home in the Fender cardboard box and I will be tearing into it tonight and taking pics to document the experience a la Fenderseeker09's adventure a while ago. I'll post them here!!

Thanks to everyone that gave me advice/information leading up to this purchase.

I'm amazed that they are still on the floor / stock at GC - @ $999 its a steal.

When they are all gone and are out in the hands of players and get seen by others, you will start to hear how " lucky " you were. No luck, smart.

Enjoy you NGD

Thanks, Scott!

I was amazed too. They actually had 2 on the floor, the other being a black RW.

Congrats - I got the 3 tone with rosewood neck a few weeks ago - fantastic guitar, and for the price, had to buy it. I saw a used one sell on ebay the other day for $1500!

Nice guitar. You gotta have some balls just to go to that store.

Nice Andy,
I hope you're enjoying it. Try the twelve string setting on on all the pup models. I don't have much use for the tunings but the drop D can get wicked... Have fun. :D
