I use D'addario XL's... they sound great and feel slinkier than anything I've played, but even more important is that they're more consistent from set to set and intonate better than any string I've ever tried (and I've been through them all).

I've been using the Fender Super Bullets and I have not broke a string yet. I use the 9's on one guitar and 10's on another. I like 'em because they feel and sound great and they fit snug in the trem block. It's worth checking out.....they're only $4-$5.

When I started playing guitar again for the second time in 2000 I spent over a year buying and trying many many brands and gauges of strings. I thought it would never end.
I kept going back to Dean Markley Blue Steel strings. Later I decided I wanted to use Flatwounds, but in a lighter gauge (usually 11's are the lightest for flatwounds). So I started making my own sets using Dean Markley Flatwound's and Dean Markley Blue Steel's.

Best advice I can give you is to get a small notebook, buy several sets of different brands and gauges of strings and try them out. Keep notes on what you like and dislike on each set.

Dean Markley Blue Steel 10-46 for a Strat. Very nice sounding, durable strings. They're the only strings I've used that I could tell a difference in my tone.

I use Fender Pure Nickel 11 gauge. i prefer nickel because its a bit warmer, and I just like the tone allot more. I use fender's because i prefer the 49 gauge low E, instead of 52 like most 11 gauge strings sets have.

Gonna be a little stiffer on the strat with the longer scale length at concert pitch.

How much? Will they feel like 11s on my sg? Maybe I should just go with 9s.

I played 9's for 20 years and it took me a long time to get used to 10's on my strat. To me now, 9's sound tinny and toneless. On a guitar, 10's will have less tension on a 24.75" scale length (Gibson) and more tension on a 25.5 scale length (Fender).
