Straycat this is something i've seen a lot of over the years. Glady i dont suffer from such misconceptions as blind national loyalty. People seem to be unable to evaluate a guitar at its price point. Whether that be a USA made favouring player or a MIM favouring player. People just cant accept that prices generaly reflect quality. If a company prices one section of its product less than another its because they will allow more through QC. It doesnt mean that more faults/mistakes will pass through or that the guitar at the end of that production line has to be shoddy. If that was the case then fender japan would be the pinacle of fender guitars. Their far more consistent regards quality than any of the other plants. You never hear of MIJ faults complaints.

I think my MIJ Strat and my MIA Strat argue when I am not in the room. And when I enter the room, they shut up.

American Standard or Mexican Standard?

Hmmm this is something to consider with care. A bass player i met saturday night has found a good outlet of japanese instruments and i have been considering one. That just cant happen should it cause ructions with my other guitars.

No, I am MIA. I can tell because there is a "Made in USA" tattoo on my $@!. And Assdaterproject says I was made in 1964.

Im going to chime in here in defense of Always.

His OP was not aggregiously confrontational and really didnt have anything to do with his beloved Hwy 1s. It was opinionated, but not abrassive and not different than 90% of the posts on these boards. Obviously some here dont get along with Always, but he is taking some shots in this thread without losing his cool or shooting back. Kudos to you Always.

Preaching a little here, but I'd ask everybody to remember that "piling on" was banned from the NFL 20 years ago. Know what I mean?

I dont see where he's taking shots. I wonder about the phrase 'the same three', though.
