Has any one put locking tuners on there's. I'd like to put them on the one I just got. Nice guitar

I was going to put a set of Fender/schallers on my VG std. but I got a GC FSR VG and it's factory equipped with them,The newer Strat necks on the standard,American standards and Deluxes as well as the VG all use 10mm hole size with 2 posts.

I em-mailed Fender and they said theres should drop right in the VG. But if the guitar was damaged putting them in they wouldn't cover it under warranty.

If you get the proper 2 pin drop in ones that Fender sells,it would be virtually impossible to do damage.Remove the old strings,take a 10mm socket and remove the old tuners install the new ones in reverse order and restring and tune.Your done,although the new American standard staggered tuners are really good,the locking ones make it slightly easier to install strings.cheers
