Hi everyone, I was just having some difficulty with identifying my strat. It is a "Made in Japan" model with the serial number RO41593 (or R041593, I'm not sure if that's an O (letter) or a 0 (number)). Some of you may already see the problem here; only the "Crafted in Japan" models made between 04 and 05 have the R in their serial numbers, right...? I am wondering if whether or not the guitar was made for the export market or the domestic Japanese market affects the serial numbers. The "Made in Japan" decal is on the headstock, underneath where it says "stratocaster" just to be specific. It is NOT above the serial number on the back of the neck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
