Take a look at this new gizmo, seems to drop right in. Anyone here have one , seems like a good alternative to routing you guitar for a Floyd.

It looks really neat, but since it's a new product, I'd give it some time before I buy it to see how other people rate it.

Kind of cool, but pretty useless? The strat already comes with a whammy and lets face it, the kind of sound that this new thing can do doesn't really sound good. It can be impressive if you can dive real low and just shoot back up to intense high tunes, but me, Im all about the music and I just don't like the sound of that kind of stuff. What kind of comp can handle that? :P

It's probably useful if you're into metal.

Not to go off the subject, but what kind of Strat was that with a reverse headstock, pearloid guard, and HSS p/up config? It's not a Hendrix or a Voodoocaster.

I think it's probably just parts assembled by hand and not a production model.

I never liked the Whammy so I blocked mine. Never loses tune until ya break a string. I play alot of the penatonic and blues scale so I love bending. Whammy rock solo's and the like are not in my repertoire.

I don't use the tremolo hard either, It just looked like a pretty cool after market device.
