i decided to do a talent show last minute.
i had no clue, into what to expect. so i grabbed the smallest gear i have.
hwy 1 and gdec, and dime bag darrel wah.
i plugged into a large room of 80 ppl. 1st thing i thought was woh, i dont think the gdec will cut it.
i miced it to their ok pa system.
i believe i rocked the house. didnt sing, but i used the wah pedal and volume to give the effects i needed.
i was so nervous, but now im hooked.....

Good for you Blues!! Do it some more it will get easier... When women start throwing silky things on stage and their men give you ugly stares you'll know you made it.... .

Unless you're underage then disregard the previous post...

Congrats - I've played twice in front of people - a total of four songs with a buddy who does happy hour gigs, and I agree - it's fantastic. I just need to find a group of 40 year olds that want to start a band...

Way to go.Your confidence must be high because just think what you can do being prepared going into the next one.And just remember its all about pleasing the listener and not about competition.

Congratulations!

Some people actually think that the G-DEC30 is just a toy.

tdanb2003- nah, im not underage.
actually im 35, took on learning guitar on my 30th bday.
perhaps an early form of midlife crisis, maybe.
i was younger, all i cared for really was partying.
went from being a hardcore country fan, to fan for the blues and bluesrock,
after learning my scales. about 3 years ago.
3 yrs moreless i bougth my hwy and gdec, and changed my playing 110%.
im terrible at tabs, gotten better by ear...
i just enjoy playing guitar, riffing, writing music.
but anyway, enough of my rant....
im take it slow and do some open mic nights at local coffee shops.
