Just a quick question (i think) about SRV's #1.

I know he has the left handed trem on it, but what would that involve if i wanted to do it?

extra routing? just purchasing a new trem?

thanks,
~Jag

You'd have to do some routing, yes. I'm still debating whether or not to preform that mod on my Strat. It's a Squier, which complicates matters even more since Fender parts don't fit.

i had a tech put in a lefty bridge on my 94 mim he did it for $60-80 don't remember how much for sure and i bought a usa vintage lefty bridge for $80. it does involve routing but its worth it i love having the trem arm up top. if you are going to buy a lefty bridge make sure its made in the same place as your strat or you'll need to plug and re pilot new holes for the bridge and the routing for the block wont be easy. you mite be better off having a real tech do it for you. here is a pic of mine

There would be filling, routing, and possibly some touch up painting involved.
