I got a Crybaby Wah pedal. Pretty awesome first impression. It really captures that great Hendrix sound. I see why people say that every guitarist should have one :D

I'm probably getting either a vox or a crybaby pretty soon. My cousin's gonna buy one for me on new york.

Are there any differences and what are the prices around?

Same here. I was using a Crybaby before it was Classic. I also still have an original Fender Fuzz Wah that nails the classic rock sound because it also was made before everything was classic.

I've gone thru Crybaby's and the Vox. I was sold on the Vox for good until I played a Budda wah. I absolutely love that thing and it has true bypass. I've had it 9 years now and hasn't so much as given me one problem and I'm pretty hard on wah pedals.

I have a crybaby, used it a lot years ago. Was too shrill for me, but that's what some people like about it. The lack of true bypass was noticeable to me when it rounded out my tone too much. I had a bypass wired in, which helped.

I'm not a fan of the toe switches. I don't like messing with that playing live, and sometimes not turning it on or off when I need it.

Budda is nice. I got a Morley Bad Horsie and it's exactly what I wanted: bypass, not too trebly, short sweep, and the easy and instant step on/off automatic switch is a godsend. Sounds great with high gain too.

The only thing I didn't like about the Bad Horsie is you can't engage it and leave it in different positions ala Frank Zappa and Michael Schenker. Aside from that, I thought the tone was incredible.

Yes I agree. For me, there was only one "honk" type of sound I used that for. I, by accident" found it when I set my PH3 phaser "wrong" and got that sound.

But I could always hook up both at the same time. Dueling wahs would be awesome! One for each foot. I could just strap them on my shoes and walk around then. Might look insanely stupid, yet very cool in a Spinal Tap sort of way...

I've got a standard Morley Wah, but I'm looking for something new. I bought it used for $10, but it just doesn't have a good range.

Does anyone have any suggesions of a good wah that has a nice range??

I've gone through some wah pedals. I've finally settled on a fantastic RMC Picture Wah. Geoffrey Teese does top notch work.
